Engrossing and revealing, the narratives mix straightforward reporting with fascinating anecdotes, such as how the word bug has come to mean a computer error or glitch, and eyebrow-raising facts that will have readers clamoring for more. Even the selection of these six broad technologies is a bit unexpected and intriguing and should pique student interest.
