Gr. 9-12. This third title in Wasserman's Seven Deadly Sins series finds the teens at Harper High still reeling from the breakup of golden-couple Adam and Beth. Wealthy teen Kaia continues her affair with her school's French teacher, but she finds herself drawn to sexy, scruffy high-schooler Reed. It's not just the formulaic lies, sex, and romance or the unabashed cliches that make this a soap opera; it's the pacing, too.
