Grades 6-9 An Aussie teenager finds grounds for an uneasy feeling about her mothers new boyfriend in this provocative import. Already struggling to adjust to her parents divorce, Anonymitys emotional kayak hits rougher and rougher waters as her close big-sister Raven takes off for a European gap year, her friends drift away into newer interests, she develops a strong crush on her handsome art teacher, and her mother brings home a seemingly respectable but unwelcome widower named John. Her suspicions about John soon harden when she finds pictures of herself and Ravenbut not their motheron his camera, and crystallize when he catches her alone one day and tries to put his hands where they shouldnt be. After her accusations draw angry rejection from her mother, she hacks Johns PC, posts some of the damning porn she finds to his Netbook page, and packs her bags for an unspecified destination.
