Grades K-3 The titles in the Kids of Character series present children on their best behavior. Little ones have to learn manners somewhere, and these books reinforce lessons taught at home and in the classroom. I Am Polite defines politeness and then provides examples of kids saying thank-you, sharing ice cream, and relinquishing a bus seat to an elderly lady. A diverse range of kids is depicted in page-size photographs; these, coupled with concrete examples, make the lessons easily understandable to young children.
