Measuring

Preschool-G Crisp, colorful photographs, many with close-up views and ranging from cucumbers and chocolate bars to giraffes and cheetahs, will draw young readers into these concept books in the First Math series. The photographs take up most of the page, with a phrase or sentence offering an explanation of the concept. Measuring introduces myriad ways to measure, such as by length, speed, or weight, and shows individuals calculating these measurements, such as using a thermometer to measure temperature.
