Be a Good Friend!

K-Gr 1-These easy-to-read books introduce some basic social concepts. Traits of a good friend include caring, listening, sharing, honesty, respect, and helping, while a good sport practices fair play, follows rules and safety guidelines, and exhibits manners in both winning and losing situations. In each title a behavior is described in a few sentences on one page opposite a full-page color photo depicting children and adults illustrating the concept. Each title includes a six-word glossary, three suggestions for additional books on related topics, two Web sites, and a brief, unnecessary index.
