Even in the golden age of Google, some prefer using print directories. This one presents annotated web sites alphabetically by general category, plus a detailed index and a foreword with search tips and background on the wireless web. Each site is ranked from one to five stars for usability, each category contains one "best" site, and e-commerce sites are noted. Some sites are designated "not for kids" or suggest age ranges. Selections in some categories seem somewhat random, and content will date quickly. In addition, web site suitability for kids is subjective. Optional for public libraries.
