This book is touted as an unbiased look at the science behind environmental issues that affect both our homes and the planet. The authors do an effective job of laying out their facts and letting listeners make decisions based on their information. Wes Bleed delivers the material as a broadcast journalist would, and that's no surprise given his background as a news anchor and reporter. He has a pleasant, clear tone, and he reads as if he truly wants listeners to understand the facts and nuances behind the authors' arguments. It would help if Bleed varied his approach more because his cadence becomes too familiar after a while. More variation would make the information in this thought-provoking book stay fresh for longer periods of time. R.I.G. (c) AudioFile 2011, Portland, Maine
