One can hear the joyful nature of the topic where appropriate while also feeling the gravity of the deep, and sometimes uncomfortable, theology. Smeby's pace quickens with excitement when he speaks of the promises of eternal life with Christ and slows in order to let the weight of biblical thought sink into the listener's mind. Though the listener may not agree with every secondary and tertiary point, the truths of the scripture concerning heaven and hell are expounded upon, and the exclusivity of salvation in Christ alone is proclaimed.
