PreS-Gr 1-These delightful introductions to the world of shapes are bold, bright, and well written. Each volume describes the shapes that can be found in different locations. For instance, Farm explains how barn windows are shaped like rectangles and how the wheels on a tractor are shaped like circles. With simple vocabulary, a large print size, and concise text (one to four sentences are included on each page), these titles will appeal to budding readers. Visual learners will appreciate the clear, attractive photographs. An "Ideas for Parents and Teachers" section at the beginning of each book provides ways for adults to start conversations about the concepts.
