Grades 2-5 Lexi Torres is having a sad week. Her best friend is moving away, and now her favorite store, Toys Toys Toys, has closed. But the store that opens in its place, Power's Pets, has its own charms. Lexi has always wanted a dog, and her parents, scrupulous about the lawn and their family rules, have always said no.
