The Phantom Tollbooth

brielle-smiles - This book is great if you like light adventures. Some people like really intense action/adventure books, but I like adventure books that are a bit quieter. Milo is an ordinary boy. One day he finds a box in his bedroom. The box contained a tollbooth. He put it together and used his toy car to play with it. The coin he had went into the slot of the tollbooth and...he was suddenly in a different place. He is sent on a journey to free Rhyme and Reason, the princesses and save this world from great confusion. Along the way he helps the things he meets and becomes even more acquainted with his fellow travelers, a dog/clock and a humbug. Milo is a truly great hero and you find yourdelf rooting for him all along the way.
