Yes Minister

The Rt. Hon. James Hacker, PC, MP, BSc (Econ), and Permanent Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby lock horns over who is really the power behind the throne: elected officials who come and go at the whim of the electorate or their tenured and everlasting civil servant staff. A cast of fine actors from London's West End crackle briskly through eight short vignettes of very British political satire. Topical in the extreme, some of the jokes may escape all but the most devoted Anglophiles; weekly study of The Economist would help to fill in the gaps.
