Swann's (Broken Crescent, 2004) latest explores time travel and personal history. Detective Dana Rohan and her partner, Detective Jacob Hightower, investigate a murder-robbery in a tattoo parlor that may help Dana discover the origin of the mark on her back. It is also the perfect opportunity to use her mark to help solve the crime, which leads her into parallel dimensions.
