When a jet malfunction strands her in Las Vegas with a man who thinks she is his billionaire grandfather's next gold-digging bride-to-be, clothing designer Kristy Mahoney has no idea that sexy Jack Osland plans to woo her, marry her, and then dump her in order to save the family fortune. But Kristy is the talented designer his grandfather is backing, so when Jack ends up wed, the results are something else altogether. A pair of well-matched but prickly individuals and a grandfather who delights in making things happen drive the plot of this funny, sexy tale that provides its protagonists with a romantic New England holiday.
