Gr 2-5-Supergirl, Superboy, Uncle Jor-El, a cast of "super pets," and others join Superman to save the world from alien invaders, Lex Luthor, and Kryptonian technology. Superhero action figures and giant hot dogs attempt to take over Earth in these zany and witty stories. The bold cartoon-style and bright colors are playful and stylishly mod, and have an indie feel similar to the "Johnny Boo" comics (Top Shelf) by James Kochalka.
