Elinor Carlisle has everything, so when she's to be tried for murder, everyone is shocked. Christie's clever plotting keeps even the most practiced sleuths on the trail until the very end of this topsy-turvy story. David Suchet renders each character with great individuality, interest, and seeming innocence, adding to the intrigue. Each of the stereotypes is fun, and even acceptable, under Suchet's influence.
