She's also spending an inordinate amount of time with their roommate, video-game mogul J3 Hopper. It's no surprise that relations between Emily and her fiance become strained. This book's ending is no surprise, but twists along the way keep things interesting. Emily made her debut appearance in " Fabulous Emily Briggs " (2004), and fans of that book will love catching up on the heroine's madcap adventures. Wannabe fashionistas will love this book for its references to Birkin bags, Jimmy Choos, and the like. And, of course, hopeless romantics will love it for the message that true love prevails.
