Bambi Ferguson has lived a sheltered life. When she finds herself in one of Richmond, Virginia's inner-city neighborhoods, she meets the man of her dreams and falls for the dope dealer, Reggie. Two years later, on the night of their engagement party, Bambi discovers a troubling secret about Reggie and ends the relationship. With a heavy heart and strong advice from her mother, Bambi decides that she will only take what men can give her and never fall in love again. A nightclub owner offers her the job of planning hisevents, which launches her party-planning business. When she meets Lynx, another young drug dealer, he sees beyond her gold-digging reputation and pursues her. She is enamored with him and throws caution to the wind and becomes involved. When he loses everything, Bambi is forced to choose between her possessions, her self-respect, and her heart. Bambi's life is full of adventure, revenge, and ghetto glamorous living.
