Russian children are dying of a mysterious illness, and Sarai Curtiss, an American medical missionary, doesn -t know how to stop it. A new regime, installed after a violent coup, orders all foreigners to leave, but Sarai has no intentions of abandoning her post. Instead, she must join forces with the man who broke her heart, Russian captain Romain Nvik. This follow-up to "In Sheep -s Clothing" is a well structured romantic thriller with absorbing characters trying to deal with dire circumstances while staying true to their own faith and purpose. Warren skillfully balances the action with a second chance at romance. For CF and romance collections. Warren lives in Minnesota.
