When the driver of the Mercedes that collides with hers turns out to be her prospective employer, Carrie Sargent knows she's lost the job before she even had it. And she's right--until a savvy headhunter persuades construction company owner Cash Cunningham to take a chance on the red-headed whirlwind who eventually turns his staid company--and his heart--upside down. Although the title is a stretch, the story itself is tightly written and features the simmering sexual tension and upbeat pace typical of many Desires. Despite a few inaccuracies, readers will find this enjoyable holiday reading. Eames (You're What?, Silhouette, 1996) lives in Michigan.
