Warren (Lies and Alibis, 2013) brings the Sound of Music story to modern wealthy Atlanta in this moving inspirational novel. Chloe had big plans for a relationship with billionaire Quentin, but five years after the death of his wife, they are not even engaged. Quentin's mother hires a young woman from the church choir to move in and take care of his five teenagers, and soon they all like her better than they do Chloe. Montana has found peace in God and needs this nanny job to tide her over for a year as she earns a teaching degree. She loves the teens she cares for and tries to help them find their music, which has been lost from the house since their mother's death. In the meantime, she helps Quentin heal and find God as well. While Chloe uses twenty-first-century gold-digger tricks to try and hang on to her bankroll boyfriend, Montana and her message of faith triumph. Warren's many fans will also enjoy novels by J. J. Murray while waiting for Warren's next romantic tale.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2014, American Library Association.)
