D’Abo’s unabashedly sensual first Bounty futuristic erotic romance gleefully celebrates hot sex and Firefly-esque adventure in the depths of space. Gar Stritt is a young, accomplished bounty hunter with a great spaceship and a burning desire to find out who killed his parents and sister. Faolan Wolf is the charming, slippery captain of a pirate ship filled with a ragtag, sarcastic crew who are his chosen family. Faolan is also Gar’s latest bounty. The two men seem very different—Faolan outgoing and outrageous, Gar solitary and staid—but they’re much more alike than either wants to admit. After a sudden and vicious betrayal by a third party, the two men are forced to team up and flee back to Faolan’s ship, dodging enemy forces the whole way. As they try to unravel what went wrong and why, their nascent bond grows stronger. D’Abo focuses on character development and steamy lovemaking almost to the exclusion of the larger plot. There are, however, a few surprises to keep things interesting in this sexy, salacious, and passionate exploration of what draws and binds two people together.
