Marley Stevenson is a wedding planner and maid of honor for hire, currently dealing with the most ferocious bridezilla she’s ever encountered. She’s very attracted to the best man, police officer Luke Jessup. However, professional rules and a confidentiality agreement keep her from revealing that her connection to the bride is contractual. She finds Luke’s dangerous job off-putting (Marley’s already grieving the recent loss of her sister and father), and he just left New York, where she’s headed as soon as she can manage. Despite these obstacles, Luke refuses to be put off. He’s willing to make concessions and compromise, determined to unlock Marley’s secret and win her heart. His wit, patience, and fortitude make a formidable combination. Gary’s novel will delight romance lovers who appreciate a strong heroine going after what she wants.
