The Thief

Narrator Jim Frangione once again brings listeners into the paranormal world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Assail, a vampire, has fallen into a coma and is not expected to regain consciousness. His cousins bring human Sola Morte to him in hopes he will get better, given their past relationship. Frangione masterfully gives voice to each character--from Sola's elderly grandmother to the tough vampire Vishous. Frangione enhances the listening experience by delivering all the emotions of the characters. The passion between Assail and Sola and Vishous's frustration with his mate, Jane, are well conveyed.
