Narrator Tanya Eby effectively captures two damaged characters in this romance, set in the small town of Happily, Inc. Writer Jasper Dembenski is dealing with PTSD from his war experience overseas, and wedding planner Renee Grothan has been burned by love. Jasper has taken on responsibility for a dog, and Eby has listeners touched by his compassion. She provides subtle differences in the voices, making it easy for the listener to differentiate the characters. The story has a large cast from previous books in the series.
