The Nativity Story

Renee Raudman captures the personality of the Virgin Mary with the soft, melodious voice of an innocent maiden. She depicts Mary's trip to visit her Aunt Elizabeth with skillful overtones of expectation as Elizabeth's unborn babe reacts to Mary's presence. Raudman's portrayal of Joseph as a man of principle, in love with his wife yet obedient to the Lord, is realistic as he adjusts to the fact his wife is pregnant before marriage. The characterization of Mary and Joseph's wonder at God's choice of them as parents is superb. Raudman gives this renowned couple such real faces and human emotions that the listener closely identifies with their struggles. Raudman's rendition of this familiar story is fresh and dynamic.
