Lady Camelia Marshall won't take no for an answer, so when Simon Kent refuses to sell her the design for a new type of steam-powered pump she must have to excavate her late father's archaeological site in South Africa, she simply "borrows" it. Once Simon discovers exactly what she has done, he sets out after her, only to find Camelia being threatened by thieves.
