Everything I Ever Wanted

In the early 1800s, the Earl of Southerton, known as South to his friends in the Compass Club, is off to find a murderer while seeking to learn how actress India Parr is involved. This slowly developing novel of intrigue and murder looks at upper-crust British society and their relations with the lower classes. As Southerton seeks the truth from Parr, he finds he must protect her life and learn her dark, hidden secrets. Jenny Sterlin narrates in a bright, sharp voice, characterizing South with loud, harsh tones and India with soft ones.
