Thunderland

The realms of the real and the supernatural collide the morning a black teenager finds the word "remember" mysteriously written on his bathroom mirror. Thunderland, which won the 2000 Gold Pen Award for Best Thriller from the Black Writer's Alliance, is a perfect 10. The story is on par with Stephen King's best, but it is Kevin Free's voice that makes this supernatural odyssey so compelling. His exquisitely calm narration belies the terror experienced by this teenager, his family, and friends.
