Rumors of Peace

A beloved evangelist, closely modeled after Billy Graham, forms an alliance with the new pope to bring peace to Northern Ireland. Later, the Baptist expands his effort to include leaders of several world faiths. But terrorists secreted within his powerful alliance threaten to ruin everything. Pete Bradbury offers a stellar narration of a well-written thriller that revolves around the Christian faith. The story and Bradbury's performance combine to form a perfectly believable listening experience. It doesn't hurt that Bradbury's interpretation takes on a compelling sense of immediacy or that his characters distinguish themselves from each other by the subtlest change in inflection and pacing.
