Dearest Dorothy, Who Would Have Ever Thought?!

The lives of the residents of Partonville, a small Midwestern town, are skillfully entwined by Baumbich and brought to life by Cynthia Darlow. Darlow's performance gives a certain endearing quality to each character in the story, from a crotchety old man to a young mother, a teenage boy, and a host of others. Dorothy, the main character in the story, is an elderly widow to whom everyone seems to gravitate to share their woes. Darlow's rendition expresses the story's humor with a voice that frequently sounds on the verge of laughter.
