Kramer returns to the nicest matchmaking agency in Charleston, S.C., in her sweet second Two Love Lane contemporary (after Christmas at Two Love Lane). Greer Jones, the mathematical genius behind the algorithms used for matchmaking success at Two Love Lane, steps out of her comfort zone and enters a contest to win the most beautiful wedding dress she has ever seen. She has no groom or plans to marry, so she asks her newfound friend, British artist Ford Smith, to accompany her when she enters the contest. She has no idea he is really Stanford Elliott Wentworth Smythe, Baron Wickshire. When Ford and Greer learn that lacking a groom will most certainly result in her losing the contest, he makes an unplanned yet romantic madcap faux proposal that starts her wondering whether she might wear that dress after all. As Ford and Greer spend more time together and she agrees to let him paint her, the spark of their friendship kindles into sensual flames, even though their engagement isn’t supposed to be a real one. As one of the owners of Two Love Lane, Charleston's premier matchmaking agency, Greer Jones has successfully paired any number of couples, but she has yet to find her own true love. Now, even though she hasn't had a date in years, Greer inexplicably finds herself bidding for a one-of-a-kind wedding dress at a local charity auction. After losing the gown to a former, grudge-bearing client, Greer thinks she has seen the last of it until it turns up as a prize being given away by a new bridal shop. In a fit of inspiration (or craziness), Greer decides to invite Ford Smith, the sexy yet scruffy British artist she met at the auction, to accompany her to the shop, never once suspecting that while Ford is not exactly the man she thinks he is, he just might be the one man right for her.
