In Griggs's faith-filled third novel (after 2005's Wings of Grace) featuring charismatic, dreadlocked pastor George Landris, George and his wife, Johnnie Mae Taylor, have left their Atlanta megachurch to start afresh in Johnnie Mae's hometown of Birmingham, Ala., where the pastor believes God sent him to begin a new congregation.
