Knit to Be Square

Scandinavian knitwear designer Hxbro ("Domino Knitting") presents another collection of eye-catching and colorful modular knitting patterns. Modular knits are constructed out of small blocks of knitting, which can then be connected in a variety of ways. The book begins with knits constructed out of single blocks, followed by knits constructed out of multiple blocks arranged into specific shapes. Modular knitwear isn't just square or rectangularit can be combined into a number of different shapes, as Hxbro demonstrates with patterns for modular knitted booties and hats. This technique isn't for everyone, but for those who enjoy modular knitting, any new pattern by Hxbro is a special treat. Recommended for libraries where similar titles are popular.
