Adams Morgan sounds like "Sea Hunt" star Lloyd Bridges, and that's probably why he's so effective in reading this memoir of a Vietnam-era Navy Seal. Seals are the amphibious Special Forces units recently highlighted in bestselling author Richard Marcinko's ROGUE WARRIOR series. Gormly comments on Marcinko but doesn't share the latter's flamboyance, violence (except in the line of duty), or obsessively foul mouth. Morgan's voice has a clipped, tense quality that serves the book well, even when Gormly is describing bureaucratic military procedures. War scenes include Vietnam and Grenada. D.R.W.
