No one could be better suited than author Martha Beck to read STEERING BY STARLIGHT. Her wobbly but sincere voice has the right tone of authenticity and humor to deliver an inspirational story and lesson plan for "fulfilling your best destiny." Beck's energetic narration style ranges from a comical imitation of her spoiled beagle to sotto voce asides about her family's threats regarding her publishing her memoir about growing up Mormon. Martha Beck is alive, approachable, and as self-effacing as someone can be with the vaunted appellation of "life coach." Her audiobook is less a listening experience than a welcome one-on-one coaching session--despite the jarring shifts to another narrator for the announcements of chapter heads and subheads. R.M.
