Our Endangered Values

Though narrated stiffly, this hard-hitting polemic is so keenly crafted that anyone--well, perhaps mainly Democrats--will enjoy the ex-president's views on what's wrong with our culture and with the direction George Bush and company are taking the country. President Carter lays out the flawed thinking and timeline leading to the Iraq invasion. He laments the missed opportunities we had for improving the world with coalitions instead of bombing. His cohesive arguments are offered with perspective and breadth.
