Encountering the Wisdom Jesus

Drawing on centuries-old materials unearthed in Egypt fifty years ago, Cynthia Bourgeault explores the teachings of Jesus, not as redeemer, but as teacher, showing how people can bring forth the Jesus that is within them. She challenges listeners to examine their faith. Do they believe because Jesus was resurrected, or do they believe in what he taught before the resurrection, such as the lesson of the woman at the well? Bourgeault's presentation is like that of a workshop. She moves through the material in an orderly manner, building on concepts.
