Gr 10 Up-Arden is special. Not only is she incredibly smart and attending a high profile, super-exclusive school, but she's figured out how to hack into HiveMind to copy memories from one person and give them to another. It's become quite a lucrative side business for her. Forget to study for a test? Buy some studying memories from Arden. Didn't do the homework? No worries, she can borrow memories from the school's number one student to provide all the answers. But when a boy shows up at school whom she's never seen before but who is supposedly her best friend, Arden realizes her own memories have been tampered with-and some have been outright erased. The hunt is on to figure out who removed her memories and what this means for HiveMind as a whole. Silver's debut novel is a edge-of-your-seat thriller that will keep readers guessing. The complex plot, the occasional twists, and the quick pacing make this a difficult read to put down. VERDICT While this is a work of suspense first and foremost, romance readers will not be disappointed by the budding love between Arden and the boy with no memories.
