When a blind date mix-up pairs her with wealthy, gorgeous Max Angeli, Cari Christensen suddenly finds herself with a baby on her hands, a jealous socialite in her face, and an off-limits guy who thinks he's going to marry someone else slowly working his way into her heart. Sparks fly between the emotionally opposite but well-matched hero and heroine, and while the hero's initial ultrapragmatic view of marriage is a little surprising, love wins out in the end. This short, sweet romance is one of the six books in Harlequin Romance's "Diamond Brides" miniseries, part of Harlequin's 60th-anniversary celebration (see box for more).
