Emily Rose's stint at the Callahan Historical Society puts her one step closer to becoming the curator of a large city museum. She has absolutely no desire to stay in her small, backwater West Texas town, but Chance Callahan is intent on changing Emily's mind. VERDICT Jenna's Cowboy, the first book in this romantic series, did fairly well with readers. Gillenwater has honed her writing skills with this second entry, providing rich descriptions of Callahan Crossing and its inhabitants. Sure to appeal to fans of Western romances and small-town tales.
