A business text about New York real estate, this volume is interesting and fairly standard for the genre. David Drummond's delivery is typical for this type of business title--his tone is crisp, pronunciation clear, and sentences empathic. Such a consistent narration could lull some listeners into not paying attention when listened to for long periods of time. Though there's not much room for imaginative interpretation in a factually based book, Drummond does try to infuse the chapters with intensity and feeling while describing the ups and downs of the housing market and its effects on the lives of ordinary people in one of the urban centers of the world.
