Grades 3-5 Earth can be a beautiful and mysterious place, and these titles in the Natural Phenomena series (6 titles) explain the science behind some of its most impressive natural events. Although each book includes colorful action shots, graphs, and related sidebars, the varying coverage of each topic keeps the series from taking a cookie-cutter format.
