Grades 4-6 The future is now! The Searchlight Books: Cutting-Edge STEM series (6 titles) makes that clear with books that focus on the latest technology. Cutting-Edge Robotics looks at the advances that have been made in robot technology, whether creating workers or exploring Mars. There's also information about how people are building robots of their own. The color photographs in this series are particularly well chosen, adding and expanding the texts and giving kids a sense of the possibilities that these technologies offer. All of the books give a nod to the history of each technology, which allows readers to see how these fields are expanding.
