Grades 3-5 Each book in the timely and informative new series U.S. Presidential Elections: How They Work (6 titles) focuses on one aspect of the country's elections for president, using recent and older historical examples to illustrate the concept. In Fund-raising for Presidential Candidates, Linde outlines campaigns' need and expenses (for example, for publicity and office space) before going into more depth about fundraising techniques to meet these needs, as well as issues raised by this fundraising (such as the Citizens United case). Most of the books end with an eye toward future changes and improvements.
