xxfyrxx - The valley of the horses is nothing short of amazing. But I will have you know that after finishing the first few chapters I had zero inclination to read any further. It was just plain sad. The most beloved heroine that ever lived was all alone, and her strong, honourable people who we learned to love along with Ayla the entire series so far were being continually badmouthed by this seemingly terrible new society. But as the book progressed we learned Ayla was not alone she had her animal companions Whinney the horse, ,and Baby the cave lion, but that she is the tie that will fix the miscommunication between the two civilizations
