Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life

Listening to this audiobook is not a pleasant experience, and Winget doesn't want it to be. Winget calls himself an "irritational" speaker, as opposed to a motivational one, and he demonstrates just that with his caustic, straight-forward, aim-for-the-gut remarks about "getting over it and getting on with life." Johnny Heller is fantastic as a performer. He truly becomes Winget, complete with his ironic whining retorts. If your life is a shambles and you want to fix it, stick with this book. If you're in a major downhill slide, you might want to wait for a sunny day, because this book requires introspection and hard work. Just try it, and you'll "get a life." M.B.K.
