One Little Secret

Barbara McCulloh's rich and throaty voice makes this story about the importance of God, family, honesty, and sacrifice a rewarding listening experience. In this tribute to the power and importance of faith, Ursula Rhoades grapples with a secret. Although gifted with a magnificent singing voice, she has willingly and lovingly taken a backseat to her husband's career and her children's needs. When afforded an opportunity to record an album with a famous but troubled rock star, she's afraid to tell her family, fearing it will upset her world and theirs. McCulloh's characterizations are subtle but effective. Her portrayals of the characters are not striking in their differentiation, but her voice is so interesting that listeners can't help but enjoy the narration. A.C.P.
