The three novellas collected here feature a futuristic arms dealer auctioned out of prison to seduce a businessman -s rival, a divorcé e surprised by a declaration from her ex-brother-in-law, and a curator who gives a failed romance a second chance at the behest of her libidinous and ghostly great-great-grandparents. Contributors Maverick ("What a Girl Wants" ), Kimberly Dean ("High School Reunion" ), and Lynn LaFleur ("Rent-a-Stud" ) are all previously published authors and their romance-writing experience shows. The character development and pacing are like those of traditional romance novels: sexual tension builds, bringing the characters closer together. Romance readers with an appetite for steamy sex scenes will find much to feast on here.
